A warm welcome to the official South West Heritage Aviation Group, we hope you enjoy the websites and get involved with this international project. So what's it all about? We started with the aim to develop a full scale model of a spitfire, which would show the courage, spirit and emotions of spitfire pilots.

We want to keep alive the spirit of the individuals involved in such brave acts, and transfer the skills, in design and actions to the next generation. The important aspect is to learn from experiences and to progress. To assist this process we have a range of projects that are running and piloting the idea of corporate projects. So if you want to learn about this then please press on the ‘Projects’ Menu. A summary of the projects is;
1) Instrument panel recreation.
2) Cockpit recreation
3) Emotional computer simulators and integration with cockpit.
4) International internet liked simulation
5) Re enactments, from flight control, to design engineering and maintenance crew, to actual missions. This is part of the living history program.
6) Interactive flight control, mission displays and internet resource.
7) Sky at night demonstration and internet resource.
8) Insight, the engineering and equipment that formed the system of command and action.
9) Road shows and demonstrations at fairs.
10) International club, the pool of knowledge and matrix of involvement.
We are a voluntary non-profit making organisation that can only go as far as your collaboration allows. If you have unwanted aviation equipment please Make contact, or if you have engineering skills, like members of model engineering clubs. Likewise if you are an industry that would like to sponsor one of the projects, or you have workspace we can use. If you want to get on a mission and want something to do with your spare time and passionate about aviation, then you have found the place to start this.

Why not read what its all about and then join the club and get involved?

If you have unwanted engineering tools or old aviation equipment then please make contact.
